Events

We host events that provide updates and information about our work in implementing and enforcing compliance with the New Vehicle Efficiency Standard (NVES). We do this to help regulated entities understand their obligations and what they need to do to comply.

While they are targeted specifically at regulated entities, peak bodies and key industry groups, anyone can register for our events. Our webinars are recorded and uploaded to the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications, Sport and the Arts YouTube channel under the NVES Regulator playlist(Opens in a new tab/window) and linked under our past events.

Consultations

Consultations play an important role in shaping how we administer the NVES. We will engage with regulated entities, peak bodies, industry groups and the public as opportunities for consultation become available.

To design the NVES the department conducted 3 consultations(Opens in a new tab/window) across 2022 to 2024.
